At Friendly Honda we believe our customers should be treated kindly with respect and dignity. And that goes double for pets and animals in our community. That's why we're supporting the Central New York SPCA all month long with our annual Friendly Honda Helping Paws Pet Drive!
For every car sold or leased from now until April 30th, Friendly Honda will be making a $50 donation to the CNY SPCA to help support our four-legged friends. We'll also be collecting much needed pet supplies, such as dry and canned food, toys, blankets, treats, and other necessities. Stop by or contact us for a complete list of items.
So whether it's a Pilot for your Pomeranian, a Civic for your Siamese, an HR-V for your Himalayan, or an Accord for your Akita, your purchase or lease of any new or used car at Friendly Honda of Fayetteville will help support our friends at the CNY SPCA.
Since its formation in 1891, the Central New York SPCA has dealt with the issues of animal neglect and cruelty. Their founders began this organization because of the mistreatment of the mules pulling the barges on the Erie Canal.
Their vision is built on these principles:
- Investigation, intervention and prosecution of animal abuse and neglect.
- Education of the public to the value and rewards of responsible guardianship of companion animals and respect for all living creatures.
- Sterilization of all companion animals to reduce the tragic over-population of unwanted animals through programs we design and propose.
- Legislation to provide for maximum protection of animals and severe penalties for those who abuse them.
- Creation and maintenance of excellent living conditions, compassionate care and medical care for the thousands of animals in our care every year.
- Adoption of those animals into responsible homes where they will be given the precious gift of a lifetime of love.
